A Vectorised logo looks better

There are many good articles with technical jargon about what logo vectorisation is, how it works and why it’s important to have one so I won’t regurgitate what’s already been said. This blog is about another benefit of having a vectorised logo:

To put it simply – A vectorised logo looks ten times better then a rasterised one.

Every now and again we carry out work for a client who had there logo designed before meeting us and in doing so they have a rasterized (not vectorised) logo.

This subliminally makes the job a bit of a nightmare because a rasterized logo generally means that the logo :

1.) looks ugly
2.) was created unprofessionally (making it hard to use)
3.) is limited in its capability

From experience we’ve learnt that using a poorly designed rasterised logo really brings down the quality of design on any document, degrading it’s very purpose. The final design may look great but the logo will stick out like a sore thumb.

If you’re having a logo designed, make sure it’s vectorised as it’s a worthwhile investment into your business image and future design investments.

If you already have a logo that’s not vectorised then see if you can get it done the next time you hire a designer. It’ll be worth it!
