Feedly is nothing new in terms of functionality or age having been around for several years now but it’s a worthy tool to keep in your business arsenal.
At a time when the market became over saturated with news readers, Feedly was one of the tools that came out on top and is still one of the most popular news readers today. After google shut down their famous news reader (google reader) a couple of years ago, google decided to migrate all of their accounts to Feedly making its superiority even greater.
What is Feedly?
Feedly is a news aggregator allowing you to place all your favourite news sources, blogs, magazines and articles in one place for easy reading, organising and sharing and whilst there are still a few competitors out there to challenge Feedly such as Linkedin’s “Pulse”, none seem to be as stylish or simple to use as Feedly making it easy to collate all your news is one place.
Why you need it?
Apart from the obvious role of making you’re your favourite content easier to find and access, Feedly plays a bigger role in my marketing strategy allowing me to syndicate and share my articles as well as spy on the competition for inspiration so I’m recommending it as the tool of the month as we’ll be posting up more articles and e-courses on content marketing in which case Feedly will be one of the tools used.
